Melted Wedding Ring

We had the pleasure recently of meeting Francisca, a very talented designer.
Her passion and creativity was something we could see in her jewellery – all beautifully made, with its own soul.
The idea was to make our wedding bands ourselves under the guidance of a jeweller. We were after something “handmade”, not ordinary, something more organic which would look a little like lava formations, volcanic material, reminiscent of New Zealand and something that had been melted as part of its creation, something which has a connection to nature and shows various facets and personality – perfect but also random.
Francisca was open to this idea from day one, she invited us over to her workshop and worked with us through the idea and eventually in the making of our rings – we are absolutely happy with where we ended up. We love our rings – they are not only special, they are unique!
Francisca showed a great deal of care and with an open mind, nothing was impossible, and we are really happy that we found her. She is one of the best designers we have met.
