Meet Francisca

Architect of Form, Artist at Heart

The architect-turned-jeweller, shaping stories through metal and meaning.

As the designer and creator behind FR Art Jewellery, my work is inspired by the beauty and intricacies of Australian nature, as well as the emotional connections people have with their jewellery.

I specialise in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate individuality and self-expression. Every piece I create is thoughtfully designed and made by hand in my studio on Bronte Road in Sydney, without outsourcing, using sterling silver, gold, and ethically sourced materials.

More Than Jewellery—A Personal Creative Practice

My creative process is deeply personal. I often begin with a feeling or a natural form—organic textures, abstract shapes, or the movement of water—and let that evolve into a piece that becomes a wearable work of art.

I use traditional techniques combined with modern design influences to create sculptural, elegant jewellery that feels timeless and intentional. It’s slow-made, soulful, and full of character.

A Journey from Architecture to Art Jewellery

I’m Francisca, a qualified architect with a Master’s degree in Jewellery Design from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). My path has always been creative—from sketching as a child to exploring form through painting and design. Architecture taught me how to shape space; jewellery taught me how to shape emotion.

FR Art Jewellery is where all of that comes together.

Jewellery That Reflects Who You Are

Through each piece, I aim to offer more than just beauty—I want you to feel empowered.
Because when you wear something truly unique, something that feels like it belongs to you and no one else, it becomes more than an accessory—it becomes part of your identity.
