Create Your Own Sterling Silver Ring
An intimate jewellery-making experience in Bronte, Sydney.
Have you ever wondered how a piece of jewellery begins?
Before a ring is cast in precious metal, polished, and worn for years to come, it begins as an idea.
Join me for an intimate jewellery-making experience where you'll design and carve your own wax ring before it's professionally cast into solid sterling silver.
Whether you're looking for a unique experience in Sydney, a creative evening with friends, or simply time to slow down and reconnect with yourself, this experience invites you to create something meaningful with your own hands.
No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to create.
More Than a Workshop
This isn't about becoming a jeweller overnight.
It's about slowing down.
Creating.
Connecting.
For one evening, you'll step away from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in a creative experience where you'll learn a centuries-old jewellery-making technique, enjoy a glass of bubbly, share delicious nibbles, and leave knowing you've designed something completely unique.
Many people tell me they haven't created anything with their hands since school.
Watching that creativity return—and seeing the pride on their faces as their ring takes shape—is one of the most rewarding parts of these evenings.
My hope is that you leave with more than a beautiful piece of jewellery.
I hope you leave inspired.
What You'll Create
During the evening you'll design and hand-carve your own wax ring.
Wax carving is one of the oldest jewellery-making techniques and is still used by jewellers today to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Once your design is complete, I'll professionally cast it into solid sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax casting process.
Every participant creates something completely different.
Some rings are minimalist.
Others are organic and sculptural.
No two are ever the same.

Your Jewellery Journey
These workshops are designed to grow with you.
Your first workshop introduces you to wax carving and the joy of creating your own sterling silver ring.
As your confidence grows, future workshops will explore more advanced carving techniques, sculptural forms, textures, and eventually jewellery incorporating gemstones or diamonds.
Whether you join me once or continue your creative journey, there's always something new to discover.
Slow Down. Create. Connect.
This experience is about more than making jewellery.
It's about giving yourself permission to pause.
To spend an evening creating with your hands.
To meet like-minded people.
To enjoy meaningful conversation over bubbles and nibbles.
To leave feeling inspired.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience?
Most participants have never made jewellery before.
I'll guide you through every step.
Will I leave with my ring?
Your wax ring will be professionally cast into sterling silver before being polished and delivered to you.
Can my ring be made in gold?
Absolutely.
As a jeweller and goldsmith, I can cast your design in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct yellow, white or rose gold.
The workshop fee includes sterling silver casting.
If you'd like your ring cast in gold, I'll happily provide a personalised quote based on your design and the current gold price.
Can I add gemstones or diamonds?
Absolutely.
Stone setting is a more advanced jewellery-making technique, so it's something we'll explore once you've completed a few workshops and feel confident with the wax carving process.
When you're ready, you'll have the opportunity to design more intricate pieces incorporating natural gemstones or diamonds.
Gemstones, diamonds and stone setting are quoted separately according to your chosen design and materials.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely.
Many guests do, while others come with friends.
Both are equally welcome.
Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes.
It makes a beautiful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day or anyone who loves creativity.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refunds are available up to seven days before the workshop.
